How long does an MVP take?
4–8 weeks for a properly scoped MVP. The key word is properly scoped — I review requirements before starting and cut everything that isn't essential to validate the core hypothesis. A bloated MVP isn't an MVP, it's a slow product launch.
What multi-tenant architecture model do you use?
Depends on your compliance requirements. Row-level security (RLS) in PostgreSQL for most SaaS products — simple, scalable, one database. Schema-per-tenant for products needing stronger isolation or per-tenant customisation. Database-per-tenant for highly regulated industries (healthcare, finance) that need complete data separation.
How do you handle Stripe billing complexity?
I implement Stripe for products with trials, multiple plans, per-seat pricing, usage-based billing, annual/monthly options, upgrades/downgrades with proration, and failed payment dunning. I build idempotent webhook handlers and test billing flows against Stripe's test clock.
Can you build the admin dashboard too?
Yes — internal admin tools are part of most SaaS builds I do. This typically includes user management, subscription management, feature flag controls, support tooling (impersonation, note-taking), and analytics. Built with the same codebase, proper RBAC, and full audit logging.
What does 'production-ready' actually mean?
Error monitoring (Sentry), structured logging, health check endpoints, database backups with tested restore procedures, CI/CD pipeline, environment variable management, rate limiting, input validation on all endpoints, and documentation for your team. Not just 'it works on my machine'.
Can you build a mobile app alongside the web product?
Yes — React Native, sharing the TypeScript types and API layer with your web app so one codebase serves both platforms and features don't drift apart. React Native is named on my IBM JavaScript Full Stack Capstone Project certificate, one of six IBM certificates completed in mid-2025. Straight answer on evidence: every case study published here is a web platform, so mobile is a trained capability rather than a shipped portfolio piece. If you need a Swift or Kotlin native build, I'll tell you rather than stretch.
